Come on darling, let’s pack our bags!

Youpie ya ya Youpie youpie yé Olé!

Dear holiday friends, I can already see in your eyes the enthusiasm overflowing to the idea of closing the last files at work or writing your auto-reply! Youhou, the holidays are coming and they are well deserved, aren’t they?

To allow you to fully enjoy your cocktail at the beach bar or by the pool, let me offer you these tips for the perfect preparation of your suitcase.
To-do-list

1°) Make a list

Well maybe you get bored with to-do-lists at work, but this one is essential! I realized this by preparing my daughter’s baggage for her camp. It makes your life way easier to follow your list and place each item in your bag. I can assure you; you won’t forget anything!

2°) Roll up your clothes

I was talking to you a few weeks ago about the Marie Kondo method … Rolling your clothes will save you space.
Shoes storage space

3°) Your shoes = storage space

Okay, better not to have problems with sweating feet. If you have fresh feet that smell like a flower, fill your shoes with your socks for example or with small souvenirs on your way back!

4°) A bag for dirty laundry

You would be surprised at the number of unnecessary clothes you take when you go on a trip. Think of the dirty laundry bag, it will save you from running the washing machine for nothing.
Before you go on a flight

5°) If you’re flying, weigh your suitcase

First, check the maximum weight allowed on your flight. I have seen many times people who have to get rid of a lot of clothing at the airport because of excess weight of their luggage. Little trick: weigh yourself without and with the bag to know the approximate weight.
